Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine, and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
4️⃣ Add Parmesan and Finish the Sauce: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and let it melt into the sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
5️⃣ Combine and Serve: Add the cooked pasta to the creamy Parmesan sauce, tossing until the pasta is well-coated. Place the golden garlic chicken bites on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Add Veggies: Sauté some spinach, mushrooms, or cherry tomatoes in the garlic butter sauce for added flavor and color.
